Wolfcamp
Geology
A massive organic-rich shale formation that underlies much of the Permian Basin in West Texas. The Wolfcamp is divided into several benches (A, B, C, D) and is one of the most drilled intervals in the US. Multi-bench horizontal wells in the Wolfcamp are responsible for a significant share of US crude production growth.
